Prior to this, some geek players have initially adapted the open source Hongmeng OpenHarmony for mobile phones such as Xiaomi 6 and one plus 6T. According to the latest news, open source Hongmeng OpenHarmony has also successfully adapted to PC.

Engineers at Honghu Wanlian, a subsidiary of Honghu Power, an ecological enterprise in Hongmeng, have completed a preliminary adaptation of OpenHarmony to PC, based on the OpenHarmony 3.2 Beta3 version and a certain Hewlett-Packard office laptop, according to the official Wechat account "OST Open Source developer".

It is reported that this adaptation supports basic functions such as switching on and off of the device, picture rendering, peripheral access and running App, including drivers for hardware interfaces such as USB, network port, SATA port, PCIE, etc., and the performance has basically met the needs of production and life, but the UI interface has not yet been adapted, and there is still a lot of work to be done.

The report also said that Honghu Wanlian engineers will release some desensitized technical content after the Open Atomic Open Source Foundation OpenHarmony Technology Summit, and the preliminary computer tasting version is expected to be released this year.
