In 2022, public security departments across the country cracked more than 2900 criminal cases involving the spread of obscene materials and arrested more than 6200 suspects, effectively deterring related crimes. To strengthen the supervision and guidance of key cases such as the large number of people involved, wide areas involved, complex cases, minors and other key cases, the Public Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security relies on the "100-day operation" of the national public security organs to crack down on public security in summer, and directs the public security departments across the country to carry out two waves of cluster crackdown operations. Jointly with the National Office of "Anti-pornography and Anti-illegal", 179 major cases were jointly listed and supervised, focusing on the detection of a number of major cases.

In 2022, public security departments across the country cracked a number of major and important cases, destroyed "shy comics", "JGG games", "Youyou paste" and other pornographic websites and App involving minors, and seized 30 domestic obscene games, 93 obscene serial cartoons, more than 210000 obscene videos and 220000 pictures, involving more than 700 million yuan.

In 2022, public security departments in Shanghai, Anhui, Zhejiang, Henan and other places successively cracked down on 10 criminal gangs that shot dramatic obscene videos for overseas pornographic websites, arrested 147 criminal suspects and seized more than 500 related obscene videos.
