CTOnews.com February 21 news, Sensor Tower today released a report said, January 2023, global mobile games in the App Store and Google Play downloads of 5 billion times, down 2% year-on-year.

India ranked first with nearly 800 million downloads, accounting for 15.8% of global downloads; Brazil ranked second with 8.7% downloads; and the US ranked third with 8.1%.

Sensor Tower said Miniclip's SYBO Games Subway Surfers topped the global mobile game download list in January with nearly 23 million downloads. India was the game's largest market, contributing 18.7% of downloads, followed by China's iOS market with 11.5% and Brazil with 7%.

King's Candy Crush Saga ranked second with over 21 million downloads. India was the game's largest market, contributing 30.7 percent of downloads, followed by the U.S. market with 7.2 percent and Mexico with 5 percent.

CTOnews.com learned from the Sensor Tower report that the other three games in the top five were Roblox, Garena Free Fire and EA FIFA Soccer.
