The origin of this problem is that a classmate asked: how to extract elements from a set of templates and mix them into PPT? How to find the right template?

I answered the last question first, where to find the right template.

In our community, we often send some foreign high-quality PPT template source files, these templates are screened, the quality is good.

Secondly, some high-quality telepathy maps and screened industry reports are sent every day, which are good "templates" and reference sources.

Finally, you can search for "PPT templates" in AboutPPT navigation. We have collected and integrated a large number of PPT template sites, and there are many sites that can be downloaded for free.

As for how to set the template, it is not a conventional copy and paste, although it is very convenient, but the content can only follow the layout, only its shape, not its spirit.

Today, it is still from the perspective of style exploration to teach us how to set templates, to be exact, how to copy templates.

01. Design elements We have shared a lot of data reports in the community, and many pages are excellent for multi-text and multi-data processing. I'll take a page from it to show you:

① solid color background and substrate

② orange + ice blue

③ uses lightweight shadows

④ digital magnification is prominent

⑤ divides the layout with lines.

These are the design elements I extracted from this page, which are very common in the business style PPT, and you can try to apply them to our own page.

This is different from the conventional set of templates, which is to disassemble and summarize a work, get some features or design elements, and then further apply it to one's own work.

It is better than simply copying and pasting, the layout changes are more abundant, and the content arrangement is more reasonable when the style and tonality remain the same.

Next, let's change a few pages of real cases.

02. This is a timeline page, which involves a lot of time nodes:

When combing the content, the page can be divided into five sections, corresponding to 2000, 2006, 2012, 2018, 2024 of these five large time nodes.

Let's first simply split the page with color blocks:

Then draw an orange main line, and then extend the guide line at each specific time point from the main line.

Fill in the content at each point in time, and the time numbers are arranged vertically in order to facilitate typesetting:

At present, the color of the text is ice blue and a little dark, which needs to be adjusted.

Highlight the year of the main node in orange while weakening the color of other time nodes:

At the same time, the lines also make some distinctions, with dotted lines pointing to secondary information and solid lines pointing to primary information.

The page of case 2 is a combination of charts and text:

The color of the chart is relatively messy, the proportion of the text on the right side is small, leaving a little more white, in typesetting can be considered to add some color block substrate.

First, under the color processing of the chart, adjust the font size of the horizontal and vertical axes, and appropriately increase the height of the chart:

After optimizing the spacing of the text on the right, add a white block substrate, plus some shadows and strokes:

Neatly typesetting the page is the first step, applying the design elements obtained from the analysis is the second step, you see, it is that simple.

Here is also a question for everyone to think about: in the case of not showing off skills, only the rules of typesetting PPT pages, what will you do, can you do it well?

Case 3, the last case, this is a multi-logo typesetting page:

In conventional logo typesetting, it will be arranged horizontally or vertically, and it is nothing new to do too much.

Why not try some different typesetting layouts?

Because it is four quarters, you can take a circle as the center, divide the page into four parts, and stroke the center circle with a dotted line:

Copy a large circle, also cut into four pieces, and use it as the place to hold the logo:

Further enrich the details, add the gradient stroke, and pay attention to the change in the direction of the gradient:

There is a prototype, but there is still some feeling, the page is a little empty and the level is not enough.

You can copy another set of semicircular arcs outward, increase the proportion of color, and enrich the hierarchy of the page through changes in transparency:

Next, add text to the four semicircles in the center, extract the title, enlarge the original Q1-Q4 and increase the transparency.

The last step is to add the logo, adjust it according to the arc of the circle when typesetting, and pay attention to the distance between them:

It should be noted that this kind of unconventional typesetting idea needs to be confirmed with Party A before doing, so that Party A can not accept it conservatively.

In today's sharing of these five pages, more or less used to disassemble the design elements of the work, but the layout and effect is constantly changing, will not give people the feeling of rigid template.

Therefore, do not set templates in a conventional way, absorb the essence from good works and become your own, and constantly optimize and improve in practical use.

At the same time, we should also note that you can not pile up all the elements obtained from the analysis, which is often counterproductive. Please exercise restraint while "copying".
