Last year, Apple launched the iPhone 14 series, which starts at $799 in the United States and 5999 yuan in China, Feb. 21. So how much annual salary does it take for people from different countries to afford the latest iPhone 14?

According to the latest statistics, the average American consumer can buy an iPhone for a fraction of his annual salary. By contrast, consumers in some areas need to spend more than 50 per cent of their annual salary to buy an iPhone.

According to the latest World Of Statistics data, Nigerian consumers spend the highest proportion of their annual salary on an iPhone 14, at 69 per cent, followed by Bangladesh (59 per cent) and Egypt (50 per cent).

This was followed by India (42 per cent), Indonesia (39 per cent), Brazil (28 per cent), Turkey (26 per cent), Kazakhstan (20 per cent), Mexico (18 per cent), China (12 per cent), Spain (5 per cent), the United Kingdom (3 per cent), the United States (1.8 per cent) and Luxembourg (1.6 per cent).

In terms of price, Japan is the cheapest country to buy iPhone 14 and Turkey is the most expensive.
