At present, units 1 and 2 of the first phase of the Hainan nuclear power project have been fully completed and put into operation, and the second phase of the project, "Hualong 1" units and multi-purpose modular small nuclear reactor "Linglong 1" units, have officially started construction, forming a pattern of "three reactors building together and two dragons flying together".

According to CNNC, the inner dome of Unit 3 of Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Phase II project was hoisted successfully today. The hoisting of the inner dome is an important milestone node in the construction of the nuclear power project, which indicates that the No. 3 unit of Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Plant has changed from the peak of civil construction to the installation stage.

According to the official introduction, the inner dome of this hoisting has a diameter of about 47m, a height of about 24m and a total weight of more than 300 tons. after a series of high-precision movements such as hook, amplitude change, walking, amplitude change, hook fall and so on, the final precision is located on the stack roof structure. the quality and safety of the whole hoisting process can be controlled.

At present, Unit 1 and Unit 2 of Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Base have maintained safe and stable operation for a long time, the WANO index of the unit has been kept at full score, and the construction of the second phase of nuclear power and the first global demonstration project of Linglong No. 1 has been progressing steadily as planned.

After the second phase of the Changjiang nuclear power project in Hainan is completed and put into operation, each unit is estimated to generate 10 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, which can meet the annual production and domestic electricity needs of 1 million people in Hainan Province. this is equivalent to reducing the annual combustion of standard coal by 3.12 million tons and carbon dioxide emissions by 8.16 million tons, equivalent to more than 70 million trees.
