Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, February 21 (Xinhua) Porsche delivered a total of 95604 Cayenne vehicles in 2022, which is also Porsche's most popular product.

Porsche has released a preview of the new model, a large luxury iterative version of the SUV that is scheduled for its global debut in April. Compared with models that have been in existence since 2017, the new car will be completely revamped and will continue to be sold for many years to come.

Meanwhile, Autocar says Porsche is working on an all-electric version, which is scheduled for launch in 2026 (unnamed). Apart from its name, it doesn't have much in common with today's Cayenne.

According to reports, the new car is based on a completely independent architecture. The architecture is Volkswagen's PPE platform for luxury electric vehicles, the same as the upcoming Macan EV and its Audi Q6 e-tron.

Like the pure electric Macan postponed to 2024, the ▲ Macan EV test car will feature an 800V electrical architecture and modular batteries. Power is uncertain, CTOnews.com attached another model as a reference, the Macan EV can provide up to 450kW and more than 1000 Nm of torque, the Cayenne EV is expected to have a stronger power performance.

Foreign media predict that a version of Pure Electric Cayenne will be equipped with the same 603 horsepower (612 PS) and 1000 Nm power system as Macan EV, thus accelerating from zero to 60 mph (97 km / h) in less than 4 seconds.

Thanks to 800V technology, Cayenne EV will also support fast charging of more than 270kW. The mileage of the car is not known, but it is reported that engineers aim to reach at least 482km in EPA conditions. In addition, the new car is likely to be equipped with rear wheel steering and electronically controlled rear axle differential locks.
