The one plus Buds Pro 2R uses the same dual drive performance design as the Buds Pro 2, providing a dynamic driver for the 11mm and a planar diaphragm for the 6mm. The headset supports 48dB ANC active noise reduction and a Bluetooth 5.3 connection for low-latency audio transmission. The user will also receive Dana tuning audio, which will provide three custom tuning audio modes as equalizer settings on the headset.

Compared with the wireless charging support on one plus Buds Pro 2, the one plus Buds Pro 2R charging box only supports wired charging through USB-C. Without using ANC, the headset can play continuously for 9 hours and the total battery life is 39 hours.
