According to CTOnews.com news on February 20, China Telecom announced today that the number of mobile subscribers increased by 1.13 million in January, bringing the total number of mobile subscribers to 392 million, of which the number of 5G package users increased by 5.03 million to 273 million.

In January 2023, the number of cable broadband subscribers of China Telecom increased by 970000 to a total of 182 million, while the number of fixed telephone subscribers decreased by 250000 to 104.7 million.

China Mobile and China Unicom also released data for January 2023 today. CTOnews.com extracts the data for comparison:

China Mobile had 622.47 million subscribers to the 5G package as of January 2023, an increase of about 8.5 million from the previous month.

China Unicom had 215.795 million users of the 5G package as of January 2023, an increase of about 3.07 million from the previous month.

China Telecom had 272.99 million subscribers to the 5G package as of January 2023, an increase of about 5.03 million from the previous month.
