CTOnews.com, February 20 (Xinhua)-- LineageOS is one of the customized ROM projects that provide new vitality to older Android devices. Now, LineageOS 20, based on Android 13, has been adapted to Google's Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 phones in advance.

LineageOS 20, based on Android 13, is being launched for Google's Pixel 6, Pixel 6a and Pixel 7 phones, bringing modifications to users of these devices. At present, these devices are still in Google's long-term support plan.

LineageOS 20 made its official debut in January this year, introducing a number of improvements, including the new Aperture camera application. The default camera app is based on Google's CameraX library and provides a near-native camera app experience on many Android flagship phones that meet the update criteria.

At the end of last month, the customized ROM brought an adaptation upgrade to the Google Pixel 2 series and new features of Android 13. (CTOnews.com Note: official support for these devices ends in 2020 with the advent of Android 11, and unofficial LineageOS 20 extends their service life.)

In addition to these Google Pixel phones, the latest LineageOS 20 version was previously adapted to one plus 9R, Sony Xperia 5 II, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 Wi-Fi and Redmi Note 9, and so on.
