CTOnews.com February 20 news, China Unicom today released the January 2023 operation data announcement, January 2023 "big connection" users is 872.75 million, of which 5G package users are 215.795 million, Internet of things terminal connections are 395.41 million.

CTOnews.com Note: cumulative arrivals of "large connection" users = cumulative arrivals of mobile billing users + cumulative arrivals of fixed-line broadband users + cumulative arrivals of fixed-line local telephone users + cumulative arrivals of Internet of things terminal connections + cumulative arrivals of network dedicated line users.

In January 2023, the number of patents authorized by China Unicom reached 88. In that month, the problem resolution rate of smart customer service reached 98.3%, and intelligent customer service accounted for 81% of that month.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, China Unicom had a total of 212.72 million 5G package users as of December 2022, accounting for about 3.07 million new 5G package users in January 2023.

For comparison, China Mobile had 622.47 million subscribers to the 5G package as of January 2023, an increase of about 8.5 million from the previous month.
