CTOnews.com February 20 news, According to the State Administration of Market Supervision website, Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. recently in accordance with the "Defective Automobile Product Recall Management Regulations" and "Defective Automobile Product Recall Management Regulations Implementation Measures" requirements, To the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration filed a recall plan.

Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. decided to recall some imported 2.0T 4xe Rubicon four-door Wrangler and 2.0T 4xe Sahara four-door Wrangler hybrid vehicles from now on, totaling 4723 vehicles. The details are as follows:

I. Some 2.0T 4xe Rubicon four-door Wrangler hybrid vehicles produced between January 13,2021 and May 26,2022, totaling 391 vehicles.

II. Some 2.0T 4xe Sahara four-door Herdsman hybrid vehicles produced between January 19,2021 and August 15,2022, totaling 4332 vehicles.

CTOnews.com notes that some vehicles within the scope of this recall may lose communication with the transmission control module during driving, causing the transmission control module to issue a power-off command, resulting in loss of power during driving and potential safety hazards.

Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will refresh the software in the transmission control module, hybrid power control module and auxiliary hybrid power control module free of charge for vehicles within the scope of recall to eliminate potential safety hazards.
