CTOnews.com learned from the official WPS account that WPS officially said it was caused by the security feature that "permissions are automatically set to read-only after receiving document format files" added to Wechat's 3.9.0 Windows version.

To edit such documents, WPS officials also provide a temporary solution, as follows:

1. It is recommended to save as a file to another path and then open it.

2. You can go to the directory where Wechat downloads the files, cancel the "read-only] in the folder directory permissions, and then you can access the files normally.
