These measures include further downward revision of capital expenditure for fiscal year 2023 and fiscal year 2024, significant reduction in operating expenditure for fiscal year 2023 and suspension of share buybacks.

In addition, Micron has also confirmed that it will reduce its global workforce by 2023 through specific staff downsizing and voluntary departures. Micron announced in December last year that bonuses for the company's fiscal year 2023 would be suspended, and senior executives' salaries would be cut at the same time.

Taiwan media pointed out that Meguiar said it valued and cared about team members, thanked all employees for their contribution to Micron, and was doing its best to help the employees affected by the manpower streamlining measures. Meguiar has completed the meeting with some employees. Different from a small number of media reports, the relevant employees leave their jobs voluntarily after participating in the talks.
