▲ Touyuan: BMW is officially the high-end model of the BMW i3, the new all-electric BMW i3 eDrive40L has stronger performance and longer range: the maximum output power is 250kW, the peak torque is 430Nm, the acceleration of zero to 100km is 5.6s, and the mileage can reach 592km under the CLTC standard.

In terms of price, the new BMW i3 eDrive40L offers two models, of which the Sunday Night set costs 383900 yuan and the Sunday Night Sports set costs 413900 yuan.

CTOnews.com learned from BMW Group officials that BMW Group sold five pure electric vehicles in China in 2022, of which the BMW i7 went on sale at the end of the year. In 2023, BMW Group will continue the offensive of pure electric vehicles, increasing its product lineup to 11 models, including the third domestic pure electric vehicle, the BMW iX1.

BMW expects to deliver its 2 million all-electric vehicle worldwide in 2025, when it will usher in a new BMW "new generation" (DIE NEUE KLASSE) model. By 2030, 50 per cent of BMW's sales will come from pure electric models, with cumulative sales of 10 million electric vehicles.
