01. Parameter setting many novice friends will not set parameters when they encounter a special shooting scene and do not know how to match the aperture, shutter and sensitivity. We need to gradually establish a clear logical relationship according to the content of the shoot.

The first step is to determine the shutter time, which is generally set to about 5: 10 seconds, during which the vehicle can pass through the lens and leave the drawing effect. If the time is too short, the tracks will not be complete. If it is too long, it is easy to have multiple tracks interlaced and appear cluttered.

Then set the sensitivity, which is generally set to between 100 and 400, because the low sensitivity suppresses the noise. Low sensitivity will not cause insufficient light intake, because long exposure has increased light intake.

Finally, set the aperture, can be set to F8~F16 or so, can get enough depth of field to ensure that the front and back are clear, a small aperture can also shoot the star effect.

02. Mobile phone parameter setting now the mobile phone can shoot the tracks, you need to turn on the professional mode to adjust the parameters.

The aperture of the phone is fixed, and it is all a large aperture (about F2). Even at night, such a large aperture and long exposure can easily be overexposed. We can only adjust the sensitivity and shutter time.

Set the ISO to a minimum value (50thumb 100) and set the shutter to about 8 seconds. If the shutter time is too long, it is easy to be overexposed.

During shooting, the camera should not be shaken and should be placed on a tripod. Mobile phones also need to be installed with special phone clips, which are installed on tripods. You can also use a lightweight octopus tripod fixed on the railing of the overpass to shoot.

03. If the location is close to the headlights, the photo is sure to be overexposed. So if you want to get a good-looking track, the best angle is to shoot down from a high place. If you overshoot at the top, you can also make the tracks longer and the lines look better.

You can go to high-rise buildings, shoot on the overpass above the road, and use drones to fly into the air.

Give priority to places with good surroundings and high speed, which will greatly improve the chances of success. If you happen to go to a place with more than one intersection, you will often take pictures of overlapping light tracks when vehicles change lanes.

Even if you are far away, you can still photograph the tracks when you go to the mountains. At this time, the focus is the road, and the headlights draw the shape of the road.

Shoot on the side of the road, facing the car taillight, the taillight is low and will not be overexposed. You can choose higher vehicles such as double-decker buses and buses with more lights to show the effect in the picture below.

04. Time to choose the best time to shoot the tracks is the blues moment, the sun sets for half an hour or so, the sky will become a charming blue, about half an hour.

During this period, the sky is not completely dark, the contrast between ambient light and light is smaller, it is easier to control the exposure, the environmental details can be well displayed, and the quality of the picture is better than at night.

It's not that you can't shoot after dark, but you can also shoot after dark.

05. Later, it is suggested that if you do not get a perfectly shaped single track during the early shooting, you can take multiple shots in the same position, select the best part of each picture, and combine it together.

If you encounter a large luminous ratio element, such as a particularly bright billboard, you can partition the exposure and synthesize it later.
