At present, the relevant terms of the above possible acquisition still need to be further discussed. As of the date of the announcement, the parties have not yet signed a final acquisition agreement.

The announcement pointed out that the same travel industry is mainly engaged in inbound, domestic and outbound tourism business through travel agencies. As of the date of announcement, the same travel industry is held by about 95.92% of the same journey by air travel and about 4.08% by Suzhou Tiancheng.

When talking about the reasons for the acquisition, Tongcheng said that through possible acquisitions, the tourism-related business ecosystem currently provided by the Group could be further complemented in terms of the supply of holiday products and content. With the addition of more value-added tourism products and services to the Group's product portfolio, customers' online time and stickiness have been enhanced, thereby increasing the average revenue value per user for existing users. The company is confident that the possible acquisition, together with the disclosed transactions, will enable the Group to further achieve greater economies of scale, consolidate its market-leading first-mover advantage, and further consolidate the market position of integrated tourism products and services.

CTOnews.com learned from the financial data released by the same trip that in the third quarter of 2022, the average number of monthly active users of the same trip reached 282 million, up 1.7% from the same period last year, and the average monthly paying users reached 36.8 million, up 9.5% from a year earlier, both reaching an all-time high.
