CTOnews.com February 18 news, after many revelations and warm-up, vivo finally confirmed that its upcoming V27 series of phones will be launched in India on March 1.

Current news indicates that the vivo V27 will be launched with MediaTek's Tianji 7200 chipset, while the Pro model will use Tianji 8200.

According to PriceBaba industry sources, the vivo V27 Pro phone is priced at 41999 Indian rupees (currently about 3482 yuan) and will be available in magic blue and noble black.

According to the database of Google Play Management Center, the vivo V27 Pro (V2230) is equipped with 1080x2400px curved screen and will be equipped with MediaTek Tianji 8200 chip and 8GB memory. The list also confirms that the phone is running Android 13. It will also use 50MP's Sony IMX766 front camera.

In addition, the vivo V27e (V2230) is equipped with a 1080x2400px display and uses MediaTek's Helio G99 chip and 8GB memory. The Android 13 system will also be pre-installed and run.

The price of the vivo V27 standard edition is unknown and is expected to be equipped with a curved screen and may be the first to carry MediaTek Tianji 7200, the newly released 4nm mid-range chip.

By contrast, the vivo V25 Pro went on sale in India at the end of August 2022, starting at 40000 Indian rupees (currently about 3316 yuan) and vivo V25 at 33000 Indian rupees (currently about 2736 yuan) at a lower discount.

CTOnews.com learned that the vivo V27 series seems to be related to the vivo S16 series phones in the Chinese market, vivo S16 Pro uses Tianji 8200 Vivo S16 with Snapdragon 870 chip, vivo S16e with Samsung Exynos 1080 processor (all 5G).
