CTOnews.com, February 17 (Xinhua) Xiaomi Poco Indian officials recently announced the new Poco C55 phone. Today the company officially revealed the design of the phone, which will be released in India on February 21.

The Poco preview shows that the Poco C55 will have a backplane with artificial leather (plain leather), artificial seams vertically through the middle, and camera modules across the width of the smartphone. With rear fingerprint identification, there is a dual-camera system on the left and a large Poco Logo on the right. There is also a LED flash, and the other circle says "AI".

Officials have announced green models, but there may be more color choices.

CTOnews.com learned that the Poco C55 phone camera module is similar to the Redmi 12C phone, so the Poco C55 phone may just be a renamed version of the model. The phone is expected to feature a 6.71in 720x1650 LCD touch screen, MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 4GB / 6GB memory, 64GB / 128GB storage space, rear 50MP main camera and 8MP depth camera, front 5MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery with 10W wired charging.

Compared with the Poco C50 phone, the Poco C55 will have a larger display, better chips, more memory and storage space, and a higher-pixel main camera.
