CTOnews.com February 17, China Construction Group announced that the consortium of the sixth Bureau of China Construction has recently won the bid for the EPC project of Anhui Feixi New Energy Automobile Intelligent Industrial Park, with a winning bid of about 1.544 billion yuan.

According to reports, the project is a key project in Hefei and will be used by Huawei and Jiangqi Group to jointly develop a new generation of high-end intelligent electric vehicles in Hefei to help Feixi County build a full-chain industrial cluster of hundreds of billions of new energy vehicles. This means that the cooperation between Jianghuai and Huawei has been basically settled, at least the industrial park of cooperation between the two sides is already in progress.

Although the two sides have not publicly admitted it, the Hefei Daily has reported the relevant progress before. In January this year, Hefei city leaders and Huawei Executive Director Yu Chengdong held in-depth talks on jointly promoting the progress of Huawei Terminal's cooperation projects with Jianghuai Automobile and Feixi County (details can be found in CTOnews.com 's previous report).

Officials said that the project is located in Jianghuai Xingang Industrial Park, south of Xingang District, Feixi County, with a total construction area of about 510000 square meters. the main construction contents include joint punching and welding plant, painting workshop, final assembly workshop, office space, restaurant and related public auxiliary facilities.

It was previously reported that Huawei and Jianghuai would jointly develop a new generation of high-end smart electric vehicle platform technology in Hefei based on Huawei's capabilities in smart car components.

At present, the cooperation model between Jianghuai and Huawei is consistent with that of Cyrus, and Huawei will be deeply involved in the definition of new products, selection of core components, production and marketing service system and other areas. The new car, like the AITO brand, will be sold in Huawei's terminal stores and is expected to be available in the third and fourth quarters of 2023 at the earliest.
