Previously, Microsoft only licensed Windows for Arm to OEM, so neither M1 nor M2 users had access to support services.

Parallels Desktop for Mac is also optimized for Apple silicon-based Mac, including MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Studio.

Parallels said companies can now purchase Windows 11 licenses "through the normal Windows procurement process", while individual users can buy the $199 Windows 11 Professional license directly from Microsoft.
