CTOnews.com, February 16 (Xinhua)-- Samsung began releasing stable Android 13 updates to its smartphones in November 2022. High-end Galaxy smartphones and tablets were among the first to be updated with One UI 5.0. New software is gradually being released to mid-range and economical smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy A04 is now getting an update for Android 13.

The updated firmware version of the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 for the Galaxy A04 is A045FXXU1BWB1. The new software is currently available in Kazakhstan and is likely to reach more markets in the coming weeks. The update also brings a December 2022 security patch to fix dozens of known security vulnerabilities. Users can go to Settings-Software updates, and then "Click download and install" to upgrade.

Samsung first launched the Galaxy A04 six months ago, running on Android 12. As the device has begun to get Android 13 updates, it will be able to get at least one more Android large version update in the future, which is expected to be Android 14.
