CTOnews.com, February 16 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- through a January update, Google has brought native space audio support for Google Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones. This adds directional filters to the sound and simulates the surround sound experience when listening to music or watching the contents of a supported application. Now, the latest update to Google's Pixel Buds app brings a hidden menu called "Spatial Audio".

According to 9to5Google, the menu contains switches that enable spatial audio and head tracking. A demo is also built into the application's settings to preview the effect of enabling this feature. The disclaimer at the bottom of the menu reminds the user that this feature applies only to supported content.

Google Pixel Buds Pro wireless headphones are expected to push firmware updates in March to enable header tracking.

CTOnews.com learned that Google Pixel Buds Pro true wireless noise reduction headphones have custom audio chips, use a beam microphone, have a battery life of 11 hours (ANC lasts 7 hours), and are available in coral, lemon grass, fog and charcoal.
