CTOnews.com, February 16 (Xinhua)-- the new vivo Y100 phone, equipped with a 90Hz AMOLED screen and MediaTek Tiangui 900 chip, has been officially launched in India.

The vivo Y100 features a 6.38in AMOLED display with FHD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The panel supports peak brightness of up to 1300 nits and supports DCI-P3 gamut coverage.

Pacific Blue and Twilight Gold versions of the vivo Y100 use discolored fluorite AG glass on the back, which can change color when exposed to ultraviolet light. Behind the 64MP main camera (OIS is supported) and 2MP macro and 2MP depth cameras.

CTOnews.com learned that the machine has a built-in MediaTek Tianji 900 chip, 8GB+128GB storage, and supports microSD slot expansion space. Pre-installed Funtouch OS 13 system based on Android 13, equipped with 4500mAh battery and 44W fast charge. Other features include screen fingerprint recognition, IP54 protection rating, and hybrid dual SIM card slots.

The vivo Y100 phone comes in Pacific Blue, Twilight Gold and Metallic Black. The promotional price for the 8GB+128GB version is 24999 Indian rupees (currently about 2065 yuan).
