CTOnews.com February 16 news, According to RUNTO technology (RUNTO)"Global TV ODM Market Shipment Monthly Tracker" report shows, In January 2023, The global Chinese region entered the Spring Festival holiday, Factory production days than the same period last year, So the global TV OEM market shipments fell sharply year-on-year. Within the statistical scope, the total shipment volume of Top10 professional ODM factories (about 4.93 million units) decreased by 22.6% compared with January last year and decreased by 34.5% compared with December last year.

In addition, in January 2023, the shipment volume of branded TV sets decreased by 16.8% year-on-year; overseas markets were relatively normal, keeping roughly the same as last year.

Although the global consumption fundamentals have not improved, the upstream panel factories collectively rose sharply again due to predictable operating pressure, and reached consensus with buyers in the middle of the month. The sudden tightness will benefit ODM factories with panel resource guarantee.

--MOKA climbed to No.1 in January shipments, approaching 1 million units. Year-on-year decline of 20.1%, month-on-month decline of 16.7%.

--TPV ranked second with 760,000 units shipped, down about 30% month-on-month. Its own brands Philips and AOC, domestic brands Hisense, Huawei and Xiaomi and other customers to ship month-on-month decline in more than 30%. Samsung shipments are relatively stable, with shipments around 100K in the past three months.

AMTC (Zhaochi) shipped 620,000 units in the month, ranking third, with a slight increase of 1.6% month-on-month. It is a rare factory among Top10 professional ODM factories to achieve month-on-month growth.

--KTC (Kangguan) and BOE VT (Video) two factories shipped around 500,000 units in the month, ranking fourth and fifth. KTC fell about 20% month-on-month. BOE VT monthly shipments decreased by 9% compared with the same period last year, with a significant month-on-month decrease of 33%. Domestic customers Xiaomi, Hisense and Huawei shipments decreased significantly, but overseas customers LG and Samsung increased month-on-month; it is estimated that its Q1 shipments are about 1.6 million units, basically flat with the same period last year.

Foxconn ranked sixth in the month, with shipments exceeding 450,000 units, down about 16% year-on-year and more than 30% month-on-month.

--Express Luck, HKC and JPE shipped around 300,000 units in the month. Although these three companies rank relatively low, in fact, they all have their own core capabilities in TV OEM, and are expected to perform no worse than expected throughout the year. In particular, HKC has achieved a large breakthrough in export sales in 2023 after completing the adjustment of organizational structure and lean factory.

--Innolux shipments have fallen below 200,000 units.
