CTOnews.com, February 16, Microsoft today launched Windows 11 Dev preview version Build 25300. In addition to some of the features mentioned in the official update log, the preview also has a hidden function, that is, it can end the task process directly in the taskbar.

We know that in Windows 11 and Windows 10, when an application or task is not responding, you need to open the task manager, find the task name, and then end its process.

In Windows 11 Build 25300, Microsoft makes it easier to kill an entire process or task. Users can right-click any application / process icon on the taskbar and quickly kill the process by clicking the new "end task (End task)" option, as shown in the following figure:

The end Task button invokes the same actions that are currently available through the Task Manager and can be seen as a shortcut in the Task Manager.

Windows 11 currently allows users to kill any process using the task manager, command prompt, PowerShell, and settings as long as the name or process identifier (PID) is recognized. The Task Manager is also equipped with a new search bar to make it easier to identify background processes.

CTOnews.com learned that in addition to this hidden feature, Windows 11 Build 25300 brings a big update to accessibility, with real-time subtitles adding support for several new languages, including Chinese (simplified and traditional), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, etc.

Microsoft is also trying different Snap window layout designs, including improving the discoverability of Snap layouts. For example, the updated Snap layout experience now includes icons for the application window and adds descriptive titles to the layout.

It is worth noting that Microsoft is testing these improvements in the Windows 11 preview, most of which are hidden and can only be enabled through code.
