CTOnews.com February 16 news, MSI's upcoming MAG X670E Tomahawk WiFi motherboard photo exposure, using AMD Ryzen 7000 Socket AM5 slot. Twitter user chi11eddog shared a set of photos of the AMD X670E chipset motherboard from multiple angles, with screenshots showing the official suggested retail price of $339 (currently about 2322 yuan).

MSI's "MEG" represents "Enthusiast"; "MPG" represents "Performance"; and "MAG" series represents "Attainable" series.

The new MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk WiFi motherboard is mainly aimed at cost-effective gamers and is one of the first MAG X670E motherboards of MSI. The motherboard sells for less than $340 and is MSI's cheapest X670E chipset. After the motherboard is listed, it will compete directly with ASRock X670E Steel Legend and Asustek X670E-Pro motherboard.

Based on the specification information on the package, CTOnews.com found that the ATX motherboard has four expansion slots, including one PCIe Gen 5.0x16 specification, two PCIe Gen 4.0x16 and a tiny PCIe Gen 3.0x1 slot.

The motherboard provides four M.2 slots, one of which provides PCIe 5.0speed and the rest provides PCIe 4.0. Three of the four slots have Frozr radiators with MSI.

MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk WiFi rear panel provides 8 USB ports, including two Type-C form factors, one of which provides Gen 2x2 speed (maximum 20Gbps)

Other connection options worth mentioning are Realtek 2.5 GbE LAN ports, as well as AMD Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless. Unspecified audio solutions use MSI Audio Boost technology to provide 8-channel (7.1) audio. Last but not least, MSI boasts the "robust power design" of this motherboard, which has a 14'2'1 phase and 80A power level.
