In view of false recommendations, exaggerated publicity and other violations, the "Restaurant Exploration Store Code" clearly stipulates that merchants and talent are prohibited from carrying out false exaggeration of goods, out-of-scope publicity, fictitious commodity source background and other false propaganda behavior; and requires that talent must be true to the store to shoot, forbid handling, processing and editing network materials, three-party materials pretending to explore the store, publishing false store content. According to reports, Douyin Life Services dealt with a total of 1.82 million illegal videos and 600000 illegal accounts in 2022.

Once the false publicity content is found, in accordance with the rules on the Management of violations of Life Service creators, punishment actions such as warnings, videos off the shelves, account demotion, and banning contributions will be imposed, and will be included in the rating and evaluation system for merchants and talent. Consumers can also report to the platform through video reports.

For exploring store cooperation, "Restaurant exploring Store Standard" has launched two modes of "free exploring store" and "cooperative exploring store" to match the needs of both sides. After the merchant chooses the "free visit store" mode, there is no need to provide free meals and additional reception services for the talent, who can visit the store at their own time, and the video content is controlled by the platform without business confirmation; the "cooperative exploration store" is released by the merchant. After two-way confirmation, merchants need to provide free meals and reception services. In the process of content creation, merchants can agree with talent on the release time and discuss the content form suggestions.
