However, we still need to pay attention to various problems such as slowing global economic growth and high inflation, which may lead to lower-than-expected demand for installed capacity.

The report pointed out that the epidemic continued to impact the photovoltaic supply chain from 2021 to 2022, and the shortage of silicon led to a high price water level of photovoltaic modules, and the installation demand was postponed to 2023. With the large-scale release of silicon material new production capacity, the price of each link of the industrial chain returns to the normal water level.

The new installed demand in the Asia-Pacific region is estimated to be 202.5GW in 2023, an increase of 55.4% over the same period last year.

Europe: photovoltaic installed capacity is expected to be about 68.6GW in 2023, an increase of 39.7% over the same period last year.

The Americas: it is estimated that the new photovoltaic installation will be about 64.6GW in 2023, an increase of 65.2% over the same period last year.

Central and East Africa: the photovoltaic market is growing steadily, and the number of new photovoltaic installations is expected to reach 14.9 GW, an increase of about 49.5% over the same period last year.
