Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen South China Wu Yanzu, forgotten melody clues delivery! CTOnews.com February 16 news, ASUS today released two W790 motherboard Pro W790-Sage SE and Pro WS W790-Ace, the former supports 8 channels of memory, the latter supports 4 channels of memory.

According to reports, the ASUS Pro WS W790-ACE motherboard supports five PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, with eight DDR5 DIMM slots, runs in four channels, and supports up to 2 TB capacity using ECC R-DIMM. In addition, ASUS has equipped the Ace motherboard with a pair of PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, a 2280 and a 22110 slot, as well as four SATA ports, three SAS ports, a Marvell 10 Gbps and an Intel 2.5 Gbps Ethernet interface.

Pro WS W790-Sage SE (SE stands for Special Edition) supports seven PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, one of which is electrically x8; supports eight channels of memory, up to 2 TB. Its M.2 slots are all 22110 type, two of the three slots support PCIe 5.0, and the third supports PCIe 4.0. SATA ports increased from four to eight, but SAS ports decreased from three to two. The motherboard features dual 10 Gbps Ethernet ports supported by Intel hardware and an M.2 slot for Wi-Fi modules.
