IT House, February 16, according to the website of the State-owned assets Supervision and Administration Commission, China's first high-order intelligent rapid tunneling system for coal mines independently developed by Taiyuan Research Institute of China Coal Science and Industry has been successfully applied.

China Coal Science and Industry Corporation said that China's first high-level intelligent rapid tunneling system recently completed industrial tests in Shanxi mining area, and successfully passed the on-site acceptance of the country's first batch of intelligent demonstration construction coal mines, marking a historic breakthrough in the application of intelligent fast excavation system in complex geological conditions in Shanxi Province.

According to reports, this set of intelligent rapid tunneling system, independently developed by Taiyuan Research Institute of China Coal Science and Industry Group, is a new generation of high-end equipment for rapid excavation in coal mines, which is known as "Coal Sea Jiaolong".

IT House learned that the system has a total length of more than 150m and can realize parallel and continuous operations of tunneling, support and transportation through one-button operation. The maximum footage in a single month is raised to 500m. Officials say that the tunneling speed is two times higher than that of traditional technology, and the number of operators is reduced by 2pm. This effectively solved the key problem of mining imbalance and broke the footage record of coal mines in the area.
