Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, February 15, Harbin FRP Research Institute Co., Ltd. officially announced that the two-stage engine of the Kuaizhou-1B carrier rocket has successfully passed the first ground thermal test on February 10, 2023. The engine has the characteristics of high performance and high mass ratio.
According to reports, the Harbor Institute participated in the development of the rocket's two-stage carbon fiber composite combustion chamber shell, and all the technical indicators meet the overall design requirements.
In order to meet the needs of commercial aerospace development, the Kuaizhou-1B carrier rocket has further improved the rocket reliability, carrying capacity, satellite loading space, performance-to-price ratio and intelligence level on the basis of the Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket. The launch vehicle requires tight development cycle, high cost pressure and many design changes. The research and development team of Harbo Institute faced up to the difficulties, gave full play to the spirit of "two bombs and one satellite", gathered wisdom to tackle key problems, solved the technical problems of carbon fiber localization of carbon fiber composite shell of second-and third-stage rocket engines, matrix formulation research, adiabatic head molding and composite skirt in a relatively short time, and developed products to meet the overall requirements, which made an important contribution to the smooth development of Kuaizhou-1B carrier rocket.
According to public information, the Kuaizhou small carrier rocket is a satellite-arrow integrated all-solid fuel carrier rocket developed by the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, with particular emphasis on "space rapid response capability." The rocket has three stages, and the fourth stage is a satellite equipped with liquid fuel, which was first launched on September 25, 2013.
So far, the Kuaizhou-1 has been launched twice, and the Clipper-1A has been launched 18 times, a total of 20 times. The most recent one is "one arrow, two stars, and China has successfully launched the test 14 and test 15 satellites," as reported by CTOnews.com.
The Kuaizhou small launch vehicle adopts a series configuration of three-stage solid power and last-stage liquid boost, with a total length of about 20m, a take-off mass of about 30t and a maximum diameter of 1.4m. The carrying capacity of solar synchronous circular orbit is 200kg / 700km and that of low-earth orbit is 300kg.
Expand reading: "the fast boat series carrier rockets plan to launch more than 7 times in 2023, mainly in the third quarter."
