Electricity price and energy consumption per unit hydrogen production are the two variables that determine the highest sensitivity of LCOH. The ALK Hi1 products introduced by Longji hydrogen Energy can be as low as 4.3kwh / Nm ³under the condition of full DC power consumption. In order to adapt to the hydrogen production scenario of higher utilization hours, ALK Hi1 plus products are also introduced, which can be as low as 4.1kwh / Nm ³at full load and as low as 4.0kwh / Nm ³at 2500A/ current density.

CTOnews.com has learned that the full-load DC power consumption of the global water electrolysis hydrogen production industry, including alkaline water electrolysis (ALK) and proton exchange membrane water electrolysis (PEM), is basically 4.5-4.6kwh / Nm. If the price of renewable electricity is reduced to 20 cents per kilowatt-hour, and the DC power consumption reaches 4.3kwh / Nm ³, it will be possible to achieve one yuan per square meter of hydrogen, which is basically close to the cost of producing hydrogen from coal, and even lower than the 2023 target set in Europe and the United States.

Longji calculated through the data that the LONGi ALK Hi1 series products can reduce DC power consumption by more than 10%, and the LCOH of hydrogen production in different scenarios will be greatly reduced. That is, for every reduction of 0.1kwh / Nm ³power consumption in hydrogen production, according to the number of hours used by the system, the hydrogen production LCOH can be reduced by 1.8%, 2.2%, which is equivalent to a reduction of 10% to 25% of the initial investment in hydrogen production equipment.
