The Nokia X30 phone supports 3 operating system updates and 3-year security patch updates. The phone is pre-installed with Android 12 system, so it can be upgraded to Android 15.

HMD advocates recycled subscriptions and is made of recycled materials to extend the life of the equipment and reduce e-waste when people upgrade. The Nokia X30 metal frame is made of 100% recycled aluminum, while the back of the plastic is made of 65% recycled material. Even retail boxes are made of 70% recycled paper (all FSC certified).
