Taiwan media pointed out that according to the estimated number of employees who can participate in dividends of about 14,000, the average amount available per person fell below NT $1 million to NT $809,000 (currently about RMB 183,000). The company has also started raising salaries since February.

MediaTek employee dividends are distributed according to a certain proportion of the pre-tax surplus, which is expected to be about 20%.
