The solicitation of works should fully reflect the Chinese elements, manned spaceflight characteristics and mission characteristics, have a distinct meaning of science, technology and art, and give due consideration to the systematicness, coordination and continuity of the three mission marks. The deadline for soliciting is 24:00 on March 6, 2023, followed by online voting and announcement of the results.

After the Chinese space station is fully completed at the end of 2022, China's manned space station project has officially entered the stage of application and development, with 2 manned spaceships and 1-2 cargo spacecraft being launched every year. According to the mission plan, the Tianzhou-6 cargo spacecraft is planned to be launched in May 2023, which will be docked at the rear port of the core cabin to form a three-cabin and two-ship combination. This mission will include upstream astronaut residency and consumption of materials, maintenance spare parts, propellants and application mission load samples, and downward in-orbit waste. Shenzhou-16 manned spacecraft will be launched in May, which will be docked at the core cabin radial port to form a three-cabin and three-ship combination. The Shenzhou 17 manned spacecraft was launched in October and docked at the forward port of the core cabin to form a combination of three cabins and three ships. During the two manned missions, astronaut extravehicular activities and cargo airlock extravehicular missions will be carried out, space science experiments and technical experiments will be carried out, and routine work on platform management, astronaut support-related work, and popular science education will be carried out.
