Shulou(Shulou.com)05/31 Report--

The LG G8 ThinQ is now expected to make its global debut at MWC 2019 next month. A new report from South Korea and a report spun off today from CNET suggest that the design of such devices may surprise us all.

LG's next flagship is said to actually feature a unique dual-display device, rather than just the large size frame reduction displays commonly used today. However, contrary to earlier LG-V smartphones, it does not involve any small auxiliary screens.

In fact, it claims that the LG G8 ThinQ (CNET claims to be able to use different names) will support optional displays that can be added in special cases, resulting in a design similar to the ZTE Axon M, but unlike the latter smartphone, LG's concept is non-foldable and it is said to include a very thin side frame, thus minimizing the gap between each display. In fact, it's so small that there have been reports that the smartphone looks like a single-screen device.

On the topic of displays, South Korea reported that LG's next flagship product will offer a large 7-inch display when the two displays are connected together. This will be paired with a new user interface called "contactless input," which will allow users to use the phone only through gestures.

The LG G8 ThinQ is expected to debut next month, so more information could be leaked in the coming weeks. At the same time, the estimated price is 1 million won ($893), which allows LG to beat Samsung's Galaxy Fold-which is expected to sell for up to 2 million won ($1786).
