The meeting will discuss the approval of the financial statements, the appointment of Jong-Hee Han as an internal director and the approval of directors' remuneration limits.

Since 2020, Samsung Electronics has also introduced an electronic voting system that allows its shareholders to exercise their voting rights without having to attend meetings in person. Shareholders can vote electronically between 9: 00 a.m. on March 5 and 5: 00 p.m. on March 14. Shareholders of Samsung Electronics can exercise their right to vote on each item on the agenda of the general meeting through the voting button.

In addition, the electronic voting system of the Korea Securities Deposit has been used for 24 hours since 2020 for the convenience of shareholders. CTOnews.com learned that Samsung has also taken steps to reduce paper use and replaced shareholder emails with electronic bulletins (DART) of the electronic public disclosure system. This will save Samsung as much as 35 million sheets of paper.

For the convenience of shareholders, Samsung has been broadcasting shareholder meetings online since 2021. Pre-registration of the shareholders' meeting can be carried out through the Samsung Electronics website. Shareholders can register their questions for each agenda item, and the application period is the same as that for electronic voting.
