CTOnews.com February 14, Samsung launched a pre-order after the release of the Galaxy S23 series, attracting a large number of consumers. The Samsung S23 series received 140000 pre-orders in the first 24 hours in India. Now, according to South Korean media reports, Samsung Galaxy 23 series received 1.09 million pre-orders in seven days, more than 7% more than last year's Galaxy S22 series (about 1.017 million orders in eight days).

This is the highest pre-order ever for the Samsung Galaxy S series in Asia, after reaching nearly 1.38 million units in August 2019, when Samsung Galaxy Note10 series pre-orders were higher.

South Korean media revealed that 60 per cent of all orders were for Galaxy S23 Ultra models. Standard Galaxy S23 accounts for 24 per cent, while Galaxy S23 + has a minimum order share of about 15 per cent.

For comparison, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 ordered 970000 units last summer, less than 1 million units.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Compared with S22 series, Samsung S23 series CPU increases by about 30%, about 49% and 41%. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra supports real-time ray tracing.

CTOnews.com learned that Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 + and Galaxy S23 have second-generation dynamic AMOLED screens of 6.8in, 6.6in and 6.1in, respectively. Among them, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra optimizes the curvature of the curved screen to make the visual effect flatter and wider.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series also comes with enhanced comfort features that can adjust the hue and contrast of the screen to help users ease eye fatigue. The new generation of Vision booster technology is further upgraded to automatically adjust and enhance color and contrast according to three different ambient lights throughout the day, ensuring that the screen provides excellent display in a variety of ambient lights.
