The size of UM960 is 12mm*16mm*2.6mm, which can bring more freedom and flexibility to customer hardware design, reduce the difficulty of integration, and make the terminal product design more integrated and smaller, so that it can be extended to more application scenarios.

Compared with the previous generation of star products, UM960's cloth board area has been reduced by 84%. A smaller cloth board area can also bring cost savings for customers.

CTOnews.com learned that the UM960 independently developed by Hexingtong supports Beidou, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and QZSS navigation systems, and the frequency supports BDS B1I / B2I / B3I / B1c / B2a*, GPS L1 / L2 / L5, Galileo E1 / E5b / E5a, GLONASS G1 / G2, QZSS L1 / L2 / L5. With the support of multi-frequency points in the whole system, UM960 can obtain more available satellites and observations under the same occlusion conditions, improve its data availability in severely occluded scenes, improve the fixed rate, and meet the application needs of various scenarios in different regions.

Thanks to the powerful chip performance of Nabulas Ⅳ, the overall performance of UM960 has improved significantly. The floating-point computing power of UM960 is increased by 5 times, and the computing power of the module is greatly improved, which greatly shortens the solving time of RTK. In terms of data output, it supports the stable output of single point positioning + RTK positioning data 20HZ. In addition, UM960 supports 1408 channels to meet the expansion needs of current and future frequency points.

UM960 ensures that in the case of small size, the power consumption is less than 450mW, which is 75% lower than that of the previous generation products, and can better meet the needs of industry applications that require strict power consumption. The low power consumption of UM960 helps to solve the problem of working hours of products in industries such as handheld portable devices, and low power consumption can help customers reduce costs in industries such as deformation monitoring.

UM960 supports independent tracking and acquisition of each frequency point. When one frequency point is interfered, the other frequency points still work normally, which ensures that the UM960 module is still positioned normally in the interference environment.

The interference detection function of UM960 can visually show the intensity of the interference signal in the current environment. In the performance UAV industry, before the flight performance, we can first detect whether there is interference in the environment, effectively prevent the occurrence of flight accidents; when surveying and mapping the location of the CORS station, we must confirm whether the environment is clean, and the UM960 interference detection function can easily detect whether there is interference in the environment, which can effectively shorten the initial location time of the CORS station and save the cost of site selection.
