CTOnews.com Developer Gustave Monce today released a 2302.39 driver update that will make the original Surface Duo run Windows 11 more smoothly.

This driver update does not include any new features, only fixes Windows Update and screen rotation issues. This update also fixes issues reported by the Microsoft INF Validation Tool.

Gustave Monce mentioned in this update that you need to manually access Device Manager to upgrade drivers, CTOnews.com translation is as follows:

Users need to manually access Device Manager for driver updates in order to invoke certain sensor functions. After the user opens the Device Manager, right-click each "Qualcomm Sensor", select "Update Device", then select "Pick from a list", then select "Manually select from list", select the first Qualcomm driver displayed, and click Next. Repeat this for all sensor devices and restart the device. The sensors should now work perfectly.

Known issues to watch out for when installing Windows 11 on the original Surface Duo:

No calls on Windows 11 22H2 and later

The screen rotation problem is still not smooth enough

Charging is not supported under Windows, charging is required in Android version
