Samsung has begun to push One UI 5.1 system updates to more than 100 million Galaxy phone users around the world, and Samsung S20 series has been launched overseas. The One UI 5.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series is being launched in some European markets and the firmware version is G98xxXXUFHWAK.

One UI 5.1 was originally launched on the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, bringing some new features and UI changes. It usually takes months for Samsung to release such minor upgrades to other eligible devices. However, just two weeks after the release of the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung has begun to introduce One UI 5.1 updates for older devices.

So far, the following devices have received One UI 5.1 updates:

Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra

Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra

Galaxy S22, S22 + and S22 Ultra

Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3

Galaxy Z Fold 4

It is only a matter of time before the rest of the eligible devices receive One UI 5.1 updates from Samsung. This will include most Galaxy phones launched in 2021 and 2022, even mid-range Galaxy A52 / A53 and A72 / A73 phones. Some mid-range and flagship phones launched in 2019 and 2020 may end up with One UI 5.1, even though they have made their last major Android upgrade.

CTOnews.com learned that Samsung One UI 5.1 features include easier tonal adjustment for selfies, quick access to Expert RAW, easier sharing of photos with family members using shared family albums, automatic removal of shadows and reflections from Remastering to enhance photo texture, swiping up to view information when viewing pictures or videos in the gallery, searching for multiple people or themes, and choosing where to save screenshots Use three emoticons in the AR Emoji camera, adjust the graffiti size and move and erase parts on the AR graffiti home screen using the brush, the new battery widget can check the battery charge of the Galaxy device, a brief summary of the new illustration style and current weather conditions, set different wallpapers on the lock screen and the home screen according to the current activity, and so on.
