The annual growth of charging infrastructure is about 2.6 million units, and the cumulative number is about 5.2 million units, an increase of nearly 100% over the same period last year. Of these, public charging infrastructure increased by about 650000 units, with a cumulative number of about 1.8 million units, while private charging infrastructure increased by more than 1.9 million units, with a cumulative number of more than 3.4 million units.
Second, the rechargeable electricity operation market has achieved rapid development. At present, there are more than 3000 charging pile operators, of which 17 have more than 10,000 public piles. The head enterprise aggregation effect is obvious. The charging capacity of electric vehicles continued to grow rapidly, exceeding 40 billion kilowatt-hours in 2022, an increase of more than 85 percent over the same period last year.
Third, the system of technology and standards has gradually matured. The State Energy Administration has set up a technical committee for standardizing charging facilities for electric vehicles in the energy industry, established a charging infrastructure standard system with China's independent intellectual property rights, and issued a total of 31 national standards and 26 industry standards. China's DC charging standards are tied with Europe, the United States and Japan as the world's four major charging standards.
Fourth, the construction of government monitoring service platform system should be accelerated. The country has built 29 provincial charging facilities monitoring service (supervision) platforms (except Xizang and Qinghai) to provide support for industry management, subsidy distribution and planning. The National Energy Administration is promoting the planning and construction of national platforms in an orderly manner.
