AAC is defined by a set of international standards of ISO / IEC. It provides a coding method that enables consumers to enjoy high-quality audio, has high compression efficiency, and reduces the amount of data transmitted and the processing power required for playback. CTOnews.com has learned that nearly 1000 companies around the world have licensed the audio compression standard through the patent pool managed by Via Licensing.

OPPO said Via is committed to balancing the interests of licensees and licensors.
