CTOnews.com, February 13, recently, Kaifu Lee, founder of Innovation works, posted a number of posts on Weibo entitled "debate ChatGPT". First, he listed 20 jobs that AI can easily replace. Secondly, he analyzed the three shortcomings of AI, and finally gave three survival strategies for the post-ChatGPT era.

Here are 10 jobs that Lee believes will exist in name only: telemarketer / telemarketer, customer service, warehouse worker, cashier and operator, telephone operator, cashier / cashier, fast food clerk, dishwasher, production line quality inspector, courier.

Here are 10 jobs that Kai-fu Lee thinks looks like a golden rice bowl. They are sales and market research, insurance claims adjuster, security personnel, truck drivers, consumer loan takers, financial and sports journalists, bookkeepers and financial analysts, fruit pickers, investment professionals, and radiologists.

Lee Kaifu said that AI has three obvious shortcomings, and even by 2042, AI may still not be able to fully master these capabilities, including:

First, creativity. AI does not have the ability to create, conceive, and strategically plan. It cannot choose its own goals, it cannot conceive across fields, it cannot think creatively, and it cannot have common sense that is self-evident to human beings.

Second, empathy. AI does not have the feeling of "empathy" such as "compassion" and "love". It is unable to achieve real emotional interaction with human beings and can not bring care to others.

Third, dexterity. AI and robotics are unable to perform some precise and complex physical tasks, such as dexterous hand-eye collaboration. In addition, it is difficult for AI to deal well with unknown or unstructured spaces.

CTOnews.com noted that Kaifu Lee also listed 20 "golden rice bowls" of "rest easy" and "risk free" jobs in the AI era. Among the 10 jobs to rest easy in the future (you have a good job in front of AI) are: psychiatrists, therapists (occupational therapy, physiotherapy, massage), medical and nursing staff, AI research institutes and engineers, fiction writers, teachers, criminal defense lawyers, computer engineers, scientists, managers (real leaders) The 10 "thrilling" jobs in the future are: fitness trainer, old-age caregiver, house cleaner, nurse, building manager, athlete, babysitter / housekeeper, tour guide, human resources, data processing and tagging.

Aiming at the post-ChatGPT era, Lee Kaifu gives three survival strategies, namely, three R:Relearn secondary learning, Recalibrate secondary definition and Renaissance secondary revival.

Kaifu Lee explained that on the one hand, we need to make the public better understand the short-term labor pains and long-term benefits of AI; on the other hand, we need to work together to prepare for a positive response in advance. Only in this way can we gradually cultivate a responsible and rigorous attitude in the process of embracing AI technological progress such as ChatGPT, so that AI can truly "Tech for Good" for the benefit of mankind.
