CTOnews.com, February 13, according to the Financial Associated Press, the 2022 annual meeting of the game industry released the "2022 Global console Game Market Survey report" shows that the actual sales revenue of China's console game market reached 2.353 billion yuan in 2022, down 8.8 percent from the same period last year; the number of users reached 8.9354 million, up 8.87 percent from the same period last year.

According to the report, in 2022, role-playing, puzzle-solving and shooting took the top three in domestic self-developed console games, accounting for 20.6%, 19.1% and 16.2%, respectively.

CTOnews.com query found that the "China Game Industry report" data released last month showed that the actual sales revenue of China's game market in 2022 was 265.884 billion yuan, down 30.629 billion yuan or 10.33% from the same period last year; the number of game users was 664 million, down 0.33% from the same period last year; and the domestic market actual sales income of independent R & D games was 222.377 billion yuan, down 13.07% from the same period last year. The actual sales revenue of independent R & D games in overseas markets was 17.346 billion US dollars, down 3.70% from the same period last year.

As can be seen from the above data, the proportion of China's mainframe game market in the whole Chinese game market is relatively low. China's mainframe game market still has great potential, but also faces some challenges. With the popularity of smart phones, the share of mobile games in China is increasing, which has had a certain impact on the mainframe game market.
