In terms of appearance, BYD's new Song Pro DM-i has a brand new grille design, equipped with regular chrome strips and black decoration on the outside. The shape of the headlights remains the same, but the front enclosure is more sporty than the current model.

The dimensions of the new Song Pro DM-i are long 4738mm, wide 1860mm, high 1710mm and wheelbase 2712mm. The side shape does not change much compared with the current model, but the length of the car increases by 88mm, the height increases by 10mm, and the width and wheelbase remain the same.

In the rear part of the car, the taillight has been redesigned, canceling the chrome-plated decoration bar of the cash model, and reducing the size of the taillight. The surrounding shape has also been adjusted to expand the area of the black material and enhance the sense of movement. In addition, the new Song Pro DM-i will offer a choice of 18-inch and 19-inch rims.

On the power side, the new Song Pro DM-i will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and a motor, with a maximum power of 81kW for the 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and 132kW and 145kW for the drive motor. No information on battery life has been released yet. As a reference, CTOnews.com learned that the current model is equipped with lithium iron phosphate blades with a capacity of 8.32kwh and 18.32kwh, with a range of 51km and 110km respectively under comprehensive operating conditions.
