CTOnews.com learned that Tesla FSD Beta v11 was originally planned to be launched in November 2022, but after many delays, it has not yet been launched and has been tested in Tesla's closed fleet.

The update is important because it contains many new neural networks, Musk said. It is also important from a consumer point of view, because it is expected to merge Tesla's FSD beta software stack, which is mainly used for roads and city streets, with Tesla's Autopilot software stack, which is used as a secondary driving assistance system on highways.

Musk said recently that V11 will arrive last week, but it was not updated last week. Now Mr Musk says V11 will come this week, but it will be a "limited beta", meaning the update will only be pushed to a small number of early testers.

Musk admitted that V11 was "much more difficult than expected" because the update brought a "neural network reconfiguration" to the FSD beta. In addition, it is not clear what hindered the update.
