Specifically, Hyundai has sold 51,096 electric vehicles in the United States since 2017 to January this year, luxury car brand Jenise has sold 1964 electric vehicles since it first launched electric vehicles in the United States last year, and Kia has sold 51,266 vehicles since 2014.

According to the model, Aini Krypton sold the most, 24,683 units, followed by Extreme EV (23,380 units), EV6 (21,608 units), Kona electric version (20,560 units), Xiur electric version (6728 units), etc.

Hyundai sold 306296 vehicles in January, up 23640 from 282656 a year earlier, or 8.4 percent year-on-year, according to Hyundai's official website.

Of the more than 300,000 vehicles Hyundai sold in January, 51,503 were sold in the home market, up 11.5% year-on-year, and 254,793 were sold in overseas markets, up 7.8% year-on-year.
