The project was signed in November last year with a total planned investment of 5 billion yuan.

According to the report, the first phase of the project plans to invest 3 billion yuan and cover an area of about 1400 mu to build a production line for new energy automobile parts such as complete vehicle wiring harness, shock absorbers and related parts of power batteries, which can achieve an annual output value of more than 10 billion yuan when completed and put into production. The second phase plans to invest 2 billion yuan, and investment and construction will be carried out in the later stage according to the development of the market.

In terms of passenger cars, BYD's new energy passenger cars currently include DM and EV routes, with Han, Tang, Song, Qin, Yuan and other dynasty models and seals, dolphins, destroyers and other marine models.

According to the data, BYD sold 151341 cars in January, up 58.6 percent from the same month last year, and 150164 passenger cars (including 10409 exports), up 57.8 percent from the same period last year.

It is worth mentioning that BYD sold a total of 1868543 vehicles in 2022, an increase of 152.5% over the same period last year, ranking first in global sales of new energy vehicles.
